Today, professionals are looking to start full-time or part-time consultancies in order to control their financial futures and/or add to their existing income. According to Consulting.com, the average independent consultant makes $94,000 a year.

Marc Kramer, who has been a consultant for 30 years, working with startup companies, Fortune 500 and non-profits around the globe and is the author of Consulting: The Business That Generates Mega Dollars and Puts You in Control of Your Financial Future, published by Entrepreneur Press, will be teaching a one-hour seminar on how to start a full-time or part-time consulting practice in any discipline.

This one one-seminar will cover:

  • Reasons for and against becoming a consultant

  • How to develop a profile of the best potential clients

  • Evaluating the market potential

  • How to get the first clients

  • Understanding the initial costs to get started

About the Instructor:

Marc, who has a Master’s in Management from Penn State University Smeal School of Business and an undergraduate degree in Broadcast Journalism from West Virginia University, has been on the cover of "Profit Magazine" and has been featured in the Wall Street Journal, Success and Forbes. He has taught at the Wharton School of Business, Drexel University and other leading Universities.  He provides content on KYW News Radio and writes a national column for American City Business Journals.
